How do you build close and effective cooperation with parents?

This mini-course explores how you, as a teacher, can help to build constructive school-home cooperation involving many different types of parents.

You will gain knowledge and techniques to establish frameworks for this cooperation through empathetic and clear communication.   

Instructor Rebekka Tangstad will give you inspiration for planning and conducting good parent meetings, and concrete exercises that you can use directly in your next parent meeting. 

Among other things, these exercises are about building better cohesion in the parent group by inviting parents to engage in self-reflection and understand the perspectives of fellow parents.

This 2½ hour course will give you:

  • Concrete exercises and inspiration for parent meetings.
  • Techniques for constructive meetings with parents in crisis or difficult situations.
  • Awareness of the pitfalls to avoid as a professional in your cooperation with parents.
About the instructor
Licensed psychologist Rebekka Tangstad from HAFU – institut for liv works daily with children, parents and professionals.


Price
Participation is free, but we ask for a participation fee of 50 kroner, which will be refunded after the course has been held. If you cancel later than 7 days before the event, we reserve the right to retain your payment.

About the course
Mini courses are free for members of the Teachers' Union for Danish Independent Schools. If you are not a member, you can sign up online.
