International Seminar 2025

Event Description

Take this unique chance to enjoy two days with a mix of "hygge" and professional inspiration for international teachers in Denmark.

BOOK NOW, as there is a limited number of available seats at this seminar. 

Practical info

  • The meeting is free for members of Frie Skolers Lærerforening, but you must pay DKK 400 as a deposit upon registration. The deposit is refunded after the seminar.
  • There is a possibility to stay for dinner and have a room if you are attending the international seminar on Saturday March 22. 
  • Accommodation and meals are included.
  • We cover transport expenses (car or train).

Getting time off work
We hope that the management at your school will see the seminar as a good opportunity for you and your international colleagues to get a professional brush-up and therefore give you the Friday off to attend the seminar.

However Frie Skolers Lærerforening do not cover expenses for supply teachers. You may have to move your lessons to another time if the management asks you to do so.

Program for International Seminar 2025

Friday March 21

From 9.30: Coffee in the lounge 

10.00: Welcome: practical information and presentation of the program and the participants  

10.30-16.00: AI – helping the teacher or the students with Henrik Køhler Simonsen (including lunch break)

16.00 - 16.30: Break  - Publishers of school material in the lounge  

16.30-17.30: Network meeting for teachers 

18.00 – 19.00: Annual General Meeting with the international committee

  1. Election of a chairman of the meeting and a keeper of the minutes 

  1. The chairman’s report 

  1. Submitted suggestions 

  1. Election of four committee members for the next period 

  1. Election of two committee member substitutes for the next period

Saturday March 22

7.30-9.00 Breakfast and check out  

9.00-10.15: What’s up in Frie Skolers Lærerforening? with Rikke Josiasen 

Rikke Josiasen, Vice Chairman of Frie Skolers Lærerforening presents what’s happening in the union just now. Ask all the questions you might have to how things are done in FSL, your salary, work hours etc.  

10.15-10.30: Coffee  

10.30-12.30: Lærernes Pension with Mikkel Avnskjold 

Consultant from Lærernes Pension informs on the pension scheme and the other benefits of having a pension in Lærernes Pension.  

12.30-13.00: Evaluation and goodbye  

13.00: Lunch
