Arrangementsbeskrivelse
Feedback is used in a learning process to move pupils from their current level and further in their learning. In the everyday teaching, feedback is given in different contexts – from the informal non-verbal feedback to the formal feedback where the pupils get verbal or written feedback from the teacher or their classmates.
The course elaborates on the quality and the characteristics of the feedback that promotes learning, and it focuses on the fact that the feedback must make the pupils think and act. The pupils must answer the three feedback questions:
- Where am I going?
- Where am I now?
- What is the next step?
The course provides knowledge about both feedback and specific tools. Examples from practice from different subjects and classes will be shown.
Instructor
Mette Meineche is a trained teacher and has worked as a teacher in independent schools for 14 years. She is interested in the quality of the day-to-day teaching that teachers perform with the pupils. Today, Mette Meineche works as a consultant at Kompetencehuset Heckmann.
