Union Rep Day

Event Description

Being a union rep can be a lonely job since you are the only one at your school with this special position and with such special tasks.

In addition, being a union rep for international members is even more special. We know that you face some issues that are unique for you as a union rep for international members.  

For now, the agenda looks like this:

  • 9.30: Coffee in the lounge
  • 10.00: Welcome w/Peter Salomonsen and Rikke Friis.                             Presentation of the attending union representatives and their schools
  • 10.30: Organizing your colleagues in FSL – what works and why?    
  • 12.00: Lunch
  • 12.45: The international community in FSL – What does it offer to you and your colleagues?                   
  • 16.00: See you next year?
As a union rep, you should have the necessary time to perform your duties representing your colleagues and this includes attending meetings. We therefore do not cover expenses for supply teachers on the day. However, we will cover your transportation expenses on either train or car.
