Event Description

A seminar for you as a teacher at an international school or department. Sign up for a program giving you a mix of professional speakers focusing on classroom management, information on your work situation and knowledge about your membership of Frie Skolers Lærerforening.

As a result of the corona virus this years international seminar will be held online, but the seminar is still a great opportunity for you to network with other international teachers. This time from the comfort of your own home.

March 4, 2021

• 15.30 - Workshop on Classroom Management: Presenters: Søs Rask Andersen and Nanna Paarup, from Skolekonsulenter.dk. Søs and Nanna are specialists in classroom management. They have published six books about classroom management, and they have shown in previous seminars that there are a lot of easy tools that we can use in our lessons to set clear goals and to be effective in presenting our behaviour expectations to our students.
• 17.00 - Annual Meeting of the International Committee and Election of the new Committee Members: The committee will report on the activities  and present the Commitee budget. According to the Terms of Reference, the election of the four members and two substitute members of the committee will take place during this meeting. There will be a digital system that ensures that the election remain anonymous. See below for further information on the election. 

March 11, 2021 

• 15.30 - Central Agreement on Work Hours: Uffe Rostrup, President of Frie Skolers Lærerforening will present the central agreement on work hours. Further more you can get answers on union related subjects, salary, work hours etc. If you want Uffe to address a specific area related to the central agreement or other procedures, remember to write it when you register for the seminar.

Election of the international committee
We will be electing a committee consisting of 4 members and 2 substitute members. All elections are valid for one year. Re-elections are allowed.
